history: As a young child, shika's elemental ties were ever-prevalent. At the age of 5, he lost both his parents to a warring elementalist group. At a young age he was able to master more advanced water-based techniques, even capable of turning it into ice as he reached his teenage years. After getting this far, he began trying to master the opposite spectrum, fire. Here he struggled for many years, leading up to this day, fire being his polar opposite, he is determined still to master it and his magecraft.
